The Problem

The Tube Creation Company was being sold as the Directors were retiring. Jake Bailey, who was taking over the company, was keen to streamline the operation from the outset by commisssioning Station Software to write bespoke software to handle all aspects of a new Customer Management System. This included a quote generating module that would accurately calculate the manufacturing cost of all the products and processes and allow the customer to be emailed a quote directly from the system. Job Sheets, Delivery Notes and further software would allow the system to track all orders and monitor all stages of the manufacturing process.

The Solution

A MySQL Database was developed and the "front end" to this was written in VB.NET to create a multi-user Windows application that would run on a File Server within the Office.
