Telephone Logging System

We have also just completed a program to log calls to a database from a large PABX telephone system within the Belasis Business Centre. The database records all the call information and calculates call costs based on OFTEL data updated regularly from the internet.

Features of the system

  • Holds details of all the tenants, rooms plans, extensions and lines allocated

  • Records details of all the 2500+ telephone extensions and 60 incoming lines within the building

  • Maintains a graphical database of the wiring on the PABX frame, greatly helping the engineers

  • Records details of all incoming, outgoing and internal calls made

  • Produces monthly bills to be given to tenants - both standard and fully itemised in HTML format

  • Allows the operator to search for any number called

  • Gives detailed reports of switchboard activity - helps with assessing manning requirements

  • Continuously monitors itself (from a separate PC) and sends SMS alerts if it finds a problem

  • Can be fully customised to work with any other PABX system
