DOS
Clinical System
The GP7
DOS based clinical system started life back in 1986 where it was developed in conjunction
with several dispensing doctors surgeries to issue and keep records of all
medicines prescribed to patients. The system was first developed before
the advent of the PC and ran on a variety of computers before setting down as a
vary stable and useful system running on PC networks in many surgeries
throughout the UK.
Although
there are still a few surgeries still using GP7, it has now been superseded by
the GP8 system which runs under Windows.
